Most people don’t enjoy breakfast even though they have been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Why? Because you have all day to burn it off!
I do admit. Most of the time I do wait about 2 1/2 hours after I wake up to eat because of work.
Here is what I have been enjoying for breakfast.
Strawberry Chia Seed Oatmeal
4-6 Strawberries Diced
1/2 Cup Dry Quick Oats
1 Tablespoon Chia Seed
1 Cup Water
Salt To Taste
Milk To Taste
1 Tablespoon All Natural Peanut Butter
Place your quick oats, salt, chia seeds and water into a large bowl. Stir to combine. Wait a few minutes to let it thicken. Place in microwave for 1 minute and 40 seconds.
In the mean time, dice up your strawberries. Once the oatmeal is done in the microwave stir in the strawberries and a little bit of milk. It will depend on how thick you want your oatmeal. Place back into the microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds.
If the consistency is to your standards top with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter!
