Healthier Alternative to a Chinese Dish!

Do you ever get weird or wacky cravings? I think it is normal to have cravings! Or I could be completely wrong. Who knows?

Maybe there is a healthier alternative to receive the satisfaction of said craving……

For instance, a cuisine that I know many Americans crave is Chinese. I know that it is one of my brothers favorite cuisines! For me? Not so much. However, I still love coming up with alternative HEALTHIER meals for people!


How about grabbing a big old whole chicken the next time you are the store! Place it in a crock pot with seasoning, oil, and your favorite vegetables and you got yourself part 1 of a healthier alternative Chinese dinner!

How about you boil some water (1 cup), add in some brown rice (1/2 cup) and give it a little oil (1 Tablespoon) and seasoning. Put it on low and wait about 20 minutes. 🙂 Chop up some green pepper and onion and throw that in the pot! Cook another 20 minutes on low and viola! Part 2 on a healthier Chinese dish!

Okay so it isn’t really Chinese at all…..

But I did think of Chinese after cooking/eating this dish! So…. it could satisfy you if you are craving some greasy Chinese and it may save you a cheat meal! 🙂
